So im a new officer in MEChA~ im in charge of publicity :P This weekend (Friday and Saturday) was our retreat at Eric’s house. I didn’t know half of the people attending (the 30 or so officers) so i was freaken nervous! believe me. But a few minutes later i knew everyone :] i am cerials xD well maybe not know-know yet, but i felt so close to all of them. This was the best experience this year so far :] I met new people and started talking to people i never bothered to talk to before because i would feel awkward.

I enjoyed the group activities, especially the movie, games and the circle bonding thing. idk what it was called but *takes a long breath* i cried so much and realized many things about life. This group has inspired me to become better as a person and to feel good about myself. I loved this weekend.

I learned much more about the Chicano culture, not just by going to the park but also by watching the ppls at the retreat hahah the parents were all so sweet.
